Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year. This is when the sun overpowers the darkness, and it is this source of energy that we use in our intentions with themes of power and protection. Magical energy is thought to be strongest during the Summer Solstice, and it’s also the time when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest.
Join Ara and Jon in honoring the Summer Solstice as we build an altar with our intentions for the season, favorite talismans and any crystals we want to charge. We will strengthen our prana and electromagnetic fields with gentle movement and breathwork to clear dense energy and increase vital life force. Then to balance the heat of the season, we will be deeply rejuvenated with Yoga Nidra-guided relaxation and alchemy crystal bowls, chimes and gongs.
One hour of Yoga Nidra restores the body similarly to 6 hours of deep sleep, and with regular practice can improve the overall quality of your sleep. Yoga Nidra-guided meditation brings you into a deeply restorative healing state that will release tension in the body, enhance your vital energy and leave you with a greater sense of peace and wellbeing. It is typically a 45-minute long guided meditation received while lying on your back in Savasana relaxation pose.
The potent methods of movement, breathwork, Yoga Nidra, sound healing and intention-setting will allow you to emerge from this special experience with a deep sense of peace, wellbeing, rejuvenation, feeling connected and ready to share your divine Self!
Refreshments such as organic fruits, chocolate, tea and juice will be served afterwards for your nourishment and grounding.
Please bring items for the altar (talismans, flowers, crystals, etc), a water bottle, yoga mat, a journal and pen, props like blankets and cushions to be comfortable. The room will be air-conditioned so bring items to stay warm like socks, warmer clothes and blankets.
