The solstices are a magical time to connect with Mother Nature, Ancestors and to anchor our energy + intentions for the upcoming season. During the Winter Solstice, all the of energy and work we've put in the year so far is amplified and intensified as we look towards longer days and more light ahead.
This sacred magical experience will begin with grounding, and calling onto the intuition and guides with the help of a drum. It will continue with a healing reiki experience. Reiki is a Japanese word for universal energy that is pure and healing as it enters your aura and body. The semi-guided reiki healing experience will include drum washing over the body to enhance the healing experience and allow one to go deeper into it while adding healing vibration felt through the heart center and the whole body. While in the experience, and after the drum wash, your guides will come around and provide a short period of hands on reiki and shamanic healing.
It will end with a cacao ceremony, shamanic sacred medicinal plant. Indulge all your senses as you nourish you body and soul.
Your guides/hosts
Anya is our very own Holy Fire Reiki III Master and Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master and teacher. She teaches and guides all levels of Reiki. She also teaches Kundalini and Hatha. She offers Reiki, sound healing, intuitive reading and card reading.
In addition to that, she is a shamanic student of Alberto Villoldo, a world renowned shaman.
N Martínez is a woman of Indigenous heritage originally from southern Mexico, where she grew up around syncretic shamanic Christian practices of Indigenous communities. Today, she is a student of the Q’ero shamanic tradition and Holy Fire III Reiki practitioner.
Helpful tips
Please dress comfortably and beautifully. This is a great occasion to dress up! White, blue, silver, orange and red colors are encouraged. Please bring a mat, bolster, blanket, pillow, eye pillow and whatever else will make you comfortable. We do have some props you can borrow. Bring a water bottle, a journal and a pen. You can also bring a crystal or a special item to place on the altar to be reikied.
