This is going to be an epic class! We are bringing the big gong and crystal bowls to experience a profound, meditative and physically uplifting kundalini yoga event in the awe-inspiring space of the pavilion.
Experience kundalini kriya and sound healing.
Kriya is a Sanskrit word meaning complete action, deed, or effort. The root, kri, means to do or create. Within the context of Kundalini Yoga, kriya refers to a single or specific set of yogic exercises designed to create a predictable outcome in consciousness. Expect breathwork, mantra, meditation, sound healing, physical postures and exercises that can be calisthenic in nature. The end result of a kriya is cumulative, and more than the sum of its parts.
For our class in the pavilion, we will be doing a powerful and profoundly beautiful kriya that is focused on the heart center and abundance.
This is an all-levels class. Everyone is encouraged to rest and go at their own pace.
Bring a mat, water bottle and any other props you would like to use.
Please note, this class takes place in the Riverfront Park Pavillion 574 West N Howard St.
